For teachers

Teach cybersecurity on Sudo Tutors

You work in security. Students want to learn from someone like you. Set your own price and hours and teach one to one. Our students are mostly in the United States, so evenings and weekends are popular.

1

Sign in with Google

One click, no new password. Choose "I want to teach" on the first screen. Use a Google account that is not already a student account.

2

Build your profile

Headline, background, topics, languages, your hourly price and the weekly hours you can teach.

3

We review it

An admin reads every profile before it goes live, usually within a day or two. You are told if something needs changing.

4

Meet students

Students find you, book a free intro call, then a weekly plan or single lessons, and chat with you in the app. Lessons run in a video room in the browser, and you get emails for bookings, reminders and cancellations.

You set the price

Your hourly rate is yours to choose and you can change it later. Students see it on your profile.

You set the hours

Add weekly times and days off. Students book only the hours you open.

Free intro calls are optional

A 15-minute intro call helps students pick you. You can switch them off in your profile.

Weekly plans

After a free intro call, students who like working with you keep a weekly time, so your calendar fills up with regulars.

What we ask

  • You are 18 or older and have real experience in the topics you teach.
  • You show up on time. Students can cancel for free up to 12 hours before a lesson.
  • Keep lessons and chat in the app. Chat messages may be checked automatically for contact details to protect the bookings policy.
  • Be kind and professional. Reviews come only from students who attended a lesson.

This is a private test: no payments are switched on yet and nothing is charged. How teachers are paid will be set out before real money moves.
